Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the LinkAffix, including the API, dashboard, and all related services (“the Service”). By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service provides an API for injecting affiliate links into LLM-generated text responses, together with click tracking, conversion attribution, and a management dashboard. The Service is provided as-is at this stage. We are an early-stage product and the platform will evolve.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. If you believe your key has been compromised, regenerate it immediately from Settings → API Keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service to monetise LLM-generated content with affiliate links, subject to these conditions:

• —You must comply with the affiliate programme terms of any network you connect (Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, etc.).
• —You must disclose to your end users when AI-generated responses may contain affiliate links, in accordance with FTC guidelines and applicable law.
• —You must not inject affiliate links into content without the knowledge of the platform operator (i.e. you must own or have permission to monetise the content).
• —You must not attempt to artificially generate clicks or conversions to inflate commission earnings.
• —You must not reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service.
• —You must not use the Service for content that is unlawful, harmful, or in violation of any third party’s rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions without prior notice.

4. API key and rate limits

The free tier includes up to 1,000 injections per month. The API is rate-limited to 1,000 requests per minute per API key. Exceeding rate limits returns HTTP 429. We may adjust limits at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you pass through the API. We claim no rights over your LLM responses, campaign data, or affiliate link configurations. You grant us a limited licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

6. Warranties and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ATTRIBUTION WILL BE 100% ACCURATE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IF YOU ARE ON THE FREE TIER, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO $100.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your API key is revoked immediately. Data retention following termination is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the changelog. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
